Privacy Policy

Chat requires an account. If you sign in, we store your name, email address, email verification status, and session data (including cookies) so you can stay signed in. You may sign in with email and password or with Google. We send verification and password-reset emails from noreply@goodmaith.com when needed.

When you send a message, we store that conversation in your account so you can return to it. The text of the turn is also sent to the AI that generates the reply — GoodMaith's tutor, or an AI you connected.

Tutor chat is metered each month. If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes the payment. We keep a record of your plan so we can apply it. We do not store full card numbers.

If you attach an image to a chat turn, that image is sent with the request so the tutor can see it. We strip the image file before saving the chat, so the picture is not kept in your stored conversation.

If you connect your own AI on Pro, that connection stays in this browser and is sent only with the chats you ask that AI to answer. We do not keep it with your account.

The graphing workbench runs in your browser. You can use it without an account. Constructions you draw there are not uploaded as a saved file unless you also use chat.

If you send feedback from chat, we store the report with your account and email it to hello@goodmaith.com so we can look into it. If you choose to include the current chat, we also keep a short excerpt of the latest question and reply with that report.

If you report a mistake on a handbook page (or another article page), we store that report with your account and email it to hello@goodmaith.com. The report includes the page URL. It does not include a chat excerpt.

We use Google Analytics to measure page views. If you allow analytics in the consent bar, we also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. You can decline Clarity; Google Analytics on this site does not use that same Allow / Decline bar.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your chats to market other products.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
